Raised in Lawton, the son of the first orthodontist in Southwest Oklahoma. After 16 years in private practice he served for over seven years with Indian Health Services and the Veterans Administration, and now works alongside Dr. Kirk.

Dental implants, start to finish

Unlike practices that refer the surgery out, Grand Dental Studio completes the whole implant process in-house, so a team you already know takes you from the consultation to the finished tooth.

All-on-4

Four implants support a full denture. Everything happens in a single appointment, including extractions in some cases, and you leave with a new set of teeth in a matter of hours.

Invisalign clear braces

Clear aligners worn about 22 hours a day, each set for about two weeks, with a progress check every six to eight weeks. Most cases take about 12 to 18 months.

Snoring & sleep apnea

Oral appliance therapy instead of CPAP: a custom-made appliance worn to bed that shifts the jaw slightly forward to keep the airway open. No mask, no pump.

Digital imaging & laser

Sedation dentistry

Relax, you are in great hands.

Avoiding treatment because of a bad experience, a strong gag reflex, or trouble getting numb? Three levels of sedation, matched to how you feel.

Nitrous oxide

A few deep breaths through a small mask and you feel warm and relaxed. The effects wear off when the mask comes off, so you can drive yourself home.

Oral conscious sedation

A prescribed pill, timed so you are already calm when you sit in the chair. Often recommended for stronger nerves, extractions or root canals.

IV sedation

The deepest level, for persistent dental fear or extensive care such as implant placement. The practice partners with licensed anesthesiologists.

What people ask before they book.

Do you place dental implants here, or refer out?

Our practice offers start-to-finish dental implant procedures, so your implants are placed and restored by a team you already know. Dr. Kirk has earned a Fellowship Certificate in Dental Implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and treatment is planned on a 3D CBCT scan.

I am in pain. Can I be seen today?

Call the office. When a dental emergency occurs we strive to see patients as soon as possible, and we are often able to treat emergency patients the same day they call. On the phone we will ask what is going on and tell you what to do until you can get here.

Do you take my dental insurance?

We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas and Delta Dental Premier, and we accept out-of-network plans too. We will explain what is and is not covered, help you maximize your benefits, and file your claims on your behalf.

Will I be unconscious with sedation?

No. With sedation you are in a deeply relaxed state and still responsive, and a team member is always with you while your vital signs are monitored. For oral or IV sedation you need someone to drive you to the office and home again.

How long does Invisalign take?

It depends on where your teeth start and how they respond, but on average about 12 to 18 months. After your exam and consultation with Dr. Kirk or Dr. Foster they can give you a more precise timeline. A retainer keeps the result.
